Bad Sentence Contest; my Bad Sentence

Hi all

The recent release of results for annual Bulwer-Lytton Bad Sentence Contest 'inspired' me to try* one myself:

When the expensively-swimsuited Catriona saw the turd in the surf, it reminded her - with a sudden and truly cliche-worthy horror - that she had once again completely forgotten to clean out the litter tray for her boss's five beloved cats, and that as a result it would be a dark and stormy night before he once again trusted her with the keys to his Bold&Beautiful-inspired beach house while his fifth wife was safely out of range.
