Just going to post my collection of "leaves" from the last couple of
months. Most of were without planning and completely unedited. They
were just a bit of fun.

‘Are we allowed to drink the coffee?’ my best friend asked, waving his hand in a half-hearted gesture to the teacher.

‘Sure.’ He was kind which is unusual at a school camp. Almost all of the people who overheard the teacher’s answer stood up at once and made their way over to the coffee machine.

‘What about tea?’ One boy had stood up from where he was sitting to ask the teacher quietly. He was surrounded by some of the sporty and rebellious boys in the grade and he didn’t want them to hear.

‘Of course.’ The teacher smiled and walked with him to the bench. While he pretended to get coffee, he blocked the boy’s hands from his friends, so that he could dip the tea bag into his cup. He downed the
drink and went back to the table while his teacher pretended to be
giving him a firm talking to.

‘Thank you, sir.’

‘Any time.’ And the boy’s friends never knew, they never said a word.
